“Halal market with decent cooked food — the chicken tikka and beef teheri are solid. But quality control is broken: moldy groceries, tough meat, and a manager who makes customers feel unwelcome. Mufti has questions.”

My husband and I go to Foodland for the cooked food they have. We typically order the chicken tikka with the plain polao rice. They change the dishes occasionally (seems mostly for holidays), so we tend to stick to those. Also the girl who works the counter is really nice! Good…

They have so much delicious hot food, rice and meat! Open really late. The deserts are seeping with honey! So sweet Umi is the bomb! 🔥

Not the best store I have ever been to. I bought this coconut drink today, and it was full of mold. This is not the first time. I had found expired and moldy bread, turkey bacon, cream, etc. If you care about your health check everything before buying them.

Food was good. Kacchi biryani was okay, biryani-potato wasn’t well-cooked. Beef Teheri was great. Chicken roast was good. Milk tea was great as well. Service great. Restroom wasn’t well cleaned. We saw mice around their grocery section which was nearby their food section.

“Dave's Hot Chicken — Nashville-style hot chicken chain that is halal-certified chain-wide. The menu is chicken-only (no pork, no beef), and the chicken is halal at every location. Order whatever heat level you can handle. Mufti approves the chain; individual location consistency varies.”

“The chicken bastilla was a dream once. Lately the kitchen has lost its way—reviewers report bitter tastes, greasy execution, and quality that has visibly declined. Eat carefully or wait a season.”
